The USDA Forest Service and Kent Plantation House invite children of all ages to the 15th Annual Kent House Bug & Reptile Day at the Kent Plantation House, 3601 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA, on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9 AM - 1 PM. Admission is $2 for all ages 3 and up. (CASH ONLY, please.) There will be bug and reptile encounters galore. Come hold a bug or even eat one if you dare! Watch a scorpion glow in the dark, pet an alligator, play games, make a craft, watch a movie or purchase pet rocks. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
