National poetry slam champion and host of AMoA's highly popular 'Rhythm & Rhymes Spoken Word Performing Arts Series', Sha'Condria "iCon" Sibley, will lead a 2-day high-energy creative writing and performing workshop for youth ages 13-21. This workshop will introduce the art of spoken word poetry, focusing on foundational knowledge, innovative uses of language for the purposes of self-expression, and effective conveyance of one's poetry for connection and entertainment. NOTE: This is a two day workshop.

OLPS Students K=6th grade will put on this production "My Son Pinocchio, Jr" a Disney production, under the direction of Lagniappe Theatre, Ross and Karen Schexnayder.
