Cinema legend Doreen Lewis, nervously about to make her Broadway debut opposite her ardent admirer Paul Burnside, intercepts a phone call for her dresser who is secretly wed to Doreen’s son confirming that “Mrs. Lewis” is pregnant. A loony resolution caps this evening of non stop guffaws.
Pops on the River
Join the Rapides Symphony and the City of Alexandria for our annual “Pops on the River” concert on Saturday, September, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Alexandria Riverfront Amphitheater. The theme of the concert, “Hollywood Heroes and Heroines”, will feature music from many epic music scores such as Rocky. Ben Hur, James Bond, and many others.

Winners of the Symphony's biennial Concerto Competition will be featured soloists for this concert which also includes "To Spring" by composer Dan Perttu and Beethoven's famous "Symphony No. 5 in C minor".
A Pre-concert presentation with Composer, Dan Perttu and Maestro Josh Zona will be held at 6:45 p.m. in the lobby of Coughlin Saunders Performing Arts Center.
