A national month long celebration of reading designed to remind people of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their lives. A nationwide celebration in honor of Beverly Cleary’s birthday in April. Cleary, first wrote about D.E.A.R. in Ramona Quimby, Age 8 and celebrates the love of reading. In addition we are also celebrating National Library Week.
