Kent Plantation House, 9a.m.-5p.m. Sponsored by Kent Plantation House. A chance to see how life was in the 1800’s. Come see how sugar was made using authentic replica of an 1840’s open kettle sugar mill. Also watch as the blacksmith makes tools and others make butter, soap, and candles. Children’s activities and free tours of the house are available all day. Arts and crafts for sale as well as a variety of food, drink, and sweets. Cost: $5 adults, $3 for children 5-12, children 4 and under are free.

Alexandria Museum of Art, 5:30p.m. Yoga is offered every Tuesday at the AMoA thanks to a generous grant from the Rapides Foundation. Yoga instructor, b. Spirits Parking Lot, 6p.m. Sponsored by Run Wild and the Garden District Run. A fun run promoting November as National Run Safety Month. Run Wild is teaming up with the Garden District Run Group to encourage visibility and reflectivity. Runners are encouraged to wear bright colors, blinking lights, and reflective pieces.
