Alexandria, Louisiana— Break out your red, white, and blue, practice your patriotic songs, and come downtown to celebrate Independence Day at the city’s annual Rock the Red festivities this Saturday, July 2.
Alexandria Museum of Art. A bicycle parade where riders are encouraged to dress up in their wackiest costume, make a lot of noise, and ride the levee during the 6th Annual Louisiana Dragon Boat Races™, and down the streets through the AlexRiverFête! Individuals, families, churches, and groups are all encouraged to attend. A fun way to be a part of race day! Cost: $10 registration fee for individuals and groups of 10 or more are only $5 per member. Registrants will receive an exclusive gift for their participation.
