The Alexandria Museum of Art presents the first public viewing of the Saratoga Collection. Donated to the museum by Marcel L. Wisznia and curated by Terrence Sanders-Smith, the Saratoga Collection was previously housed in the Saratoga Building located at 212 Loyola Ave in New Orleans and features works created by artists living and working in the city in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
"Join printmaker Madilyn Anderson in an exploration of Kitchen Lithography. Participants will be able to create their own fine art lithographs using common household items such as aluminum foil, sharpies, vegetable oil, and cola. All supplies are included in the cost of the class.
Time: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM- There will be a short break for lunch; please bring your own snack/lunch.

This family-friendly event will be held Friday, October 17th from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the Downtown Cultural Arts District, at 3rd St. & Murray.
