Classic Cars & College Cheerleaders Parade

The Classic Cars & College Cheerleaders Parade will kick off Alexandria’s family-oriented Mardi Gras weekend. The Classic Cars & College Cheerleaders follows the same route as the Children’s Parade in downtown Alexandria. It features classic cars paired with college cheerleaders from colleges, universities, and high schools in Louisiana.
Route: Downtown Alexandria – Murray – Fifth Street – Jackson – Third Street to St. James Street
Grand Marshal: Coach Charles Smith, Peabody Magnet High School
