AMoA, 6-8p.m.

Captivated by scenes of New Orleans and France, James Michalopoulos evokes the spirit of the subject through beautifully layered, textured and complex color compositions. The exhibition features original paintings from New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival posters, portraits, steel sculptures and rarely seen works on paper, all enveloped in color by this celebrated New Orleans-based artist.

Cost: Admission free AMoA members and LSUA students with ID; $4 adults; $3 students/seniors/military; $2 for youth 5-13 and 4 and under free.
