The Indian Creek Triathlon was founded in 2000 and has been a local favorite sprint-distance triathlon for two decades. FRESHJUNKIE Racing acquired the race in 2014 and continues the race's tradition by promoting the beauty of the course, the Indian Creek Recreation Area, and the fun of sprint-distance racing. Join the Generals for the annual LSUA 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, September 28 at 8:00am with the event benefiting the LSUA basketball program.
Participants will enjoy a flat, but fun course that starts between the baseball field and gym with the run continuing past the soccer field and apartments before going through the rest of campus.
The registration fee of $25 includes a t-shirt and there will also be door prizes.

The 8th Annual Le Tour de Bayou is a scenic cycling tour throughout the bayou region of Central Louisiana. The rides will meander across the cypress-lined bayou region of Central Louisiana, taking you through an authentic Belgian farming community with fields of cotton, soy beans, corn, and grain sorghum. There are six levels of participation and all levels will begin and end at Kent Plantation House.
Bulls, Bands, and Barrels Tour Presented by Tarver Land and Development with a live performance by Koe Wetzel and The Voice finalist Gyth Rigdon will be at The Rapides Parish Coliseum Saturday, August 10th. The show will begin at 7 PM.
