Galleries at Cabrini and Rapides Regional Hospitals, 10a.m. (Rapides) and 1p.m. (Cabrini). Sponsored by Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare, Inc. This is the 8^th annual Paint Pink Art Show dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. The show features local artists and will be up the entire month of October at both Rapides and Cabrini Hospitals. Hearn Stage at the Kress Theatre, 7p.m.

Working in an insular farming community in Appalachia, Sal Damon, a modern day Thoreau, seeks solace from a past relationship.  After a sudden death in the community and the discovery of a feral child living on the lam, Sal must reconcile his place in a world that lives outside the law.
